The directors needed some flexibility and some more functionality in the website itself and decided to add two of the Vixen Content Management System modules to enhance their clients useablility of the websiteso they opted for the News and Documents and Links modules.
Stokes and Bell now have a website that not only links their clients to their tracking but can access online documents and current news. They have the easy to use News module where they can add news and industry updates as often as they like as well keep their downloadable douments and website links up to date with the touch of a button.

Our website project was interrupted by external events, mainly the Global Financial Crisis and subsequent downturn, which meant for us, as for many businesses, refocusing our efforts in the short term on maintaining profitability in a slowing economy. We put the new website design on the back burner for a while. Both Jocelyn and Maryann were understanding of this and kept in touch with us in the intervening period.
As it turns out, the delay in finalising the site design was beneficial, because when we came to do so, Vixen had just launched their Content Management System. This concept of giving us the ability to update certain pages on our site, immediately appealed to me. We have taken up two modules of this system, the 'Documents and Links' and the 'News'.
As a freight forwarder and customs broker, there are various documents that either we or our clients need to complete and these do change format and content over time. Being able to replace these on our website ourselves, as and when required, rather than having to request Vixen Internet to make each change is convenient and of great benefit. The site was launched a few weeks ago and the initial feedback we have had from companies we work with is that the site looks good and is easy to navigate around.
